Tomoe High School
Tomoe High School is a newly renovated high school in the western part of Mutsu City. For the most part the school is ordinary and unassuming, but it lies in the shadow of Mount Osore, said to be the entrance to Hell. Most students dismiss the legends as outdated superstition, and they are preoccupied with the rigors of education, friendships, romance, and a wide range of extracurricular activities, from the light music club to the track team.
Shimokita Cultural Club
On the surface, the Cultural Club organizes events regarding the special character of Mutsu City and the Shimokita Peninsula. Behind closed doors, however, the club monitors and reacts to spiritual threats, protecting the school and its students from whatever malice escapes from the heart of Mount Osore. They make regular trips to the Bodai-Ji temple and maintain a special relationship with the Buddhist spirit realm.
